1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Liner ("the Service"), operated by ninetynine.digital ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Liner is a spatial canvas for organizing music. It allows you to drop audio files, paste streaming links, and arrange songs on an infinite canvas to build albums, EPs, playlists, and mood boards. The Service operates on a local-first model where your audio files remain on your device, with optional cloud sync for metadata.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of Liner, you must create an account through our authentication provider, Clerk. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You own your content. Liner does not claim ownership over any audio files, metadata, notes, or other materials you create or upload to the Service.

• Audio files are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Board metadata (song titles, positions, notes) may be synced to the cloud if you enable cloud sync, solely to provide the sync functionality.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you add to Liner.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated systems to access the Service without our permission.

6. Payment Terms

Liner offers free and paid subscription plans. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) as selected at the time of purchase.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your paid features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are owed a refund.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes affect their plan.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ninetynine.digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Since your audio files are stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for local data loss.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
